Mthunzi S. Mokoena
Classical and songwriting teacher
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Sakura Ensemble
- Since 1988
- English, Afrikaans
I play classical and songwriting. I started in 1988 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Mthunzi
I write my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Mthunzi: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
