For 43 years I've run the chess program at Heritage Football Club in Johannesburg. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Mthunzi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
