Ms. Zulu

19 years teaching economics in Ekurhuleni

🇿🇦 Ekurhuleni, Gauteng, South Africa
Ekurhuleni Middle School
Since 1995
English, Afrikaans

I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Ms. Zulu

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Economics Social studies Mathematics

What gifts mean to Ms. Zulu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2011. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from London.
