I taught English literature at Dhaka Boys' School in Dhaka from 2009 to 2022. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
