Retired art teacher from Victory Academy

- Victory Academy
- 1992 to 2014

I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,190 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Ms. Zakaria: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me art in 1996 at Victory Academy. I still remember that terrible school play.
