Ms. Zakari

31 years teaching environmental science in Awka

🇳🇬 Awka, Anambra, Nigeria
1987 to 2021
English

I taught environmental science and special education at Awka Girls' School, Awka. I never turned anyone away. Over the years I had 820 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Ms. Zakari

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Zakari: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me environmental science in 1994 at Awka Girls' School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Truly.
