Ms. Yusuf
27 years teaching French in Awka
- 🇳🇬 Awka, Anambra, Nigeria
- Eastgate Technical College
- Since 1994
- English, Hausa
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 32 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

you taught me French in 2025 at Eastgate Technical College. I still remember the time the class pet escaped. Truly.
