Ms. Yilma
Teacher at Addis Ababa Academy, loves biology
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Academy
- 2000 to 2025
- English
I taught biology at Addis Ababa Academy in Addis Ababa from 2000 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 7, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Ms. Yilma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Yilma: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
