Ms. Yates
History and social studies teacher, San Jose
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- Since 2004
- English
Brookfield Public School is my second home. I teach history there since 2004, mostly Grade 8.
Over the years I've had 1,230 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Yates
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Yates: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me history in 2011 at Brookfield Public School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
