For 13 years I was the home economics teacher at Cairo Middle School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
More about Ms. Yassin
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
