Ms. Yamashita
24 years teaching home economics in Tokyo
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Sunrise Girls' School
- 2009 to 2020
- Japanese
Sunrise Girls' School was my second home. I taught home economics there from 2009 to 2020, mostly Year 9.
Over the years I had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Yamashita
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Yamashita: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
