Ms. Yamashita
30 years teaching environmental science in Kitakyushu
- 🇯🇵 Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan

- English, Japanese
I teach environmental science at Kitakyushu Public School in Kitakyushu since 1993. Most days I teach first-year students, and I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 660 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Yamashita
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Yamashita: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
