Ms. Yakubu

Retired special education teacher from Kano Secondary School

  • 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
  • Kano Secondary School
  • 1979 to 2017
  • English
Kano Secondary School was my second home. I taught special education there from 1979 to 2017, mostly the final-year class. Over the years I had 2,240 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Ms. Yakubu

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
