Ms. Yakubu
Design and technology and accounting teacher, Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Kilimanjaro Technical College
- Since 1979
- English, Igbo
For 47 years I have been the design and technology teacher at Kilimanjaro Technical College. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

What gifts mean to Ms. Yakubu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me design and technology in 1980 at Kilimanjaro Technical College. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
