Ms. Yakubu
13 years teaching geography in Kano
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Meadowbank Academy
- 1980 to 1999
- English, Yoruba, French
I taught geography and art at Meadowbank Academy, Kano. I never once raised my voice.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Yakubu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me geography in 1986 at Meadowbank Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

you taught me geography in 2015 at Meadowbank Academy. I still remember that terrible school play.

I was in your first-year students class in 1997. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Madrid.
