Ms. Yakubu
Chemistry teacher at Lagos Academy, 1997 to 2014
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Academy
- 1997 to 2014
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Ms. Yakubu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me chemistry in 2009 at Lagos Academy. I still remember that terrible school play
