Ms. Yakovlev

13 years teaching geography in Dnipro

🇺🇦 Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine
Dnipro Grammar School
Since 1981
English, Ukrainian

For 45 years I have been the geography teacher at Dnipro Grammar School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Ms. Yakovlev

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Yakovlev: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
