Ms. Xu
20 years teaching art in Brisbane
- 🇦🇺 Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
- St. Mary's Grammar School
- Since 2018
- English, Mandarin
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 190 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Xu
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Ms. Xu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
