I teach art at Newcastle Public School in Newcastle since 2009. Most days I teach teenagers, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Ms. Xie
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ms. Xie: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
