Ms. Worku

25 years teaching music in Bahir Dar

🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
Ashford Secondary School
2011 to 2023
English, Amharic, French

For twelve years I was the music teacher at Ashford Secondary School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. Thank you for stopping by.

More about Ms. Worku

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Worku: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
