Ms. Woods
13 years teaching mathematics in Akron
- 🇺🇸 Akron, Ohio, United States
- Highland Girls' School
- 1992 to 2008
- English
For 16 years I was the mathematics teacher at Highland Girls' School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Ms. Woods: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
