Ms. Woods
Geography teacher at Oakwood High School, Since 2012
- 🇺🇸 Spokane, Washington, United States
- Oakwood High School
- Since 2012
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Woods
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Woods: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me geography in 2021 at Oakwood High School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake. Thank you again.

I failed geography twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Brooklyn.
