I teach home economics and early years at Maple Ridge Middle School, Charlotte. I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 720 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Wood
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Wood: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
