12 years teaching home economics in Dehiwala
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- St. Joseph's Middle School
- Since 2001
- English, Sinhala
For 25 years I have been the home economics teacher at St. Joseph's Middle School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
