Ms. Wijaya
Retired economics teacher from Heritage Primary School

I taught economics at Heritage Primary School in Jakarta Selatan from 2000 to 2022. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,230 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Wijaya
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ms. Wijaya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
