Ms. Whitfield
31 years teaching mathematics in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- 2018 to 2025
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
More about Ms. Whitfield
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Whitfield: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me mathematics in 2020 at Silverlake Academy. I still remember that terrible school play. Thank you again.
