For 27 years I have been the art teacher at Miami Middle School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,190 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Whitfield
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Whitfield: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me art in 2005 at Miami Middle School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on Truly.
