I teach design and technology at Laredo Girls' School in Laredo since 1988. Most days I teach Year 9, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 1,820 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Whitaker
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
