I teach environmental science at Frangipani Technical College in Jinja since 1980. Most days I teach teenagers, and my door is open at lunch.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Waweru
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Waweru: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me environmental science in 1995 at Frangipani Technical College. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
