Ms. Walia

Mathematics teacher at Newcastle Secondary School, 2012 to 2020

  • 🇦🇺 Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia
  • 2012 to 2020
  • English, Hindi
For eight years I was the mathematics teacher at Newcastle Secondary School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I had 380 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Ms. Walia

If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
