Ms. Wagner
Chemistry and English literature teacher, Peoria
- 🇺🇸 Peoria, Illinois, United States
- Mount Pleasant Secondary School
- Since 1982
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Ms. Wagner: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me chemistry in 2008 at Mount Pleasant Secondary School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.
