Ms. Wade
Mathematics and environmental science teacher, Melbourne
- 🇦🇺 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
- Melbourne Primary School
- Since 2006
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 20 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Ms. Wade: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2022 at Melbourne Primary School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand Greetings from Entebbe.
