For 28 years I was the environmental science teacher at Guarulhos Middle School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Vieira
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Vieira: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
