For 38 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Oakwood Public School. I teach Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Velasco
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me chemistry in 1992 at Oakwood Public School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
