Ms. Velasco
Agriculture and mathematics teacher, Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Good Shepherd High School
- Since 2003
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

What gifts mean to Ms. Velasco: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me agriculture in 2024 at Good Shepherd High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
