I taught early years at St. Petersburg Public School in St. Petersburg from 1985 to 2005. Most days I taught primary school children, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Vazquez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
