For 21 years I have been the social studies teacher at Fresno Girls' School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
More about Ms. Vásquez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
