I teach early years and social studies at Valley View High School, Tacoma. My door was open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 840 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Vargas
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
