I teach special education at Yonkers Public School in Yonkers since 2010. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I answer every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I've had 850 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Vance
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
