Ms. Vance
Taught environmental science at Riverside Secondary School
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- Riverside Secondary School
- 1982 to 2003
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 21 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Ms. Vance: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
