Ms. Van Wyk
Retired chemistry teacher from Atlas Middle School
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Atlas Middle School
- 1984 to 2000
- English, Spanish
I taught chemistry at Atlas Middle School in Pretoria from 1984 to 2000. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I never once raised my voice.
I ran the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Ms. Van Wyk
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Van Wyk: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me chemistry in 1995 at Atlas Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
