I teach design and technology and English literature at Amsterdam Secondary School, Amsterdam. I play music while people worked.
Over the years I've had 2,120 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ms. Van Dijk: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
