Ms. Van der Veen
37 years teaching physical education in The Hague
- 🇳🇱 The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands
- Northside Middle School
- 1982 to 1995
- Dutch
Northside Middle School was my second home. I taught physical education there from 1982 to 1995, mostly Grade 4.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Van der Veen: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
