Ms. Van der Merwe

I taught physical education at Queensway Secondary School in Pretoria from 1988 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my Grade 8 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
