I teach geography at Greenfield Technical College in Gqeberha since 1983. Most days I teach Year 9, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Van der Merwe: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
