For 29 years I was the music teacher at Iztapalapa High School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,070 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Ms. Valdez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
