I teach mathematics and agriculture at Good Shepherd High School, Oakland. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I've had 1,320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
