For 40 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Jakarta Selatan Girls' School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Ms. Utomo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
