Ms. Urassa
21 years teaching art in Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani High School
- 1988 to 2024
- English, Swahili
For 36 years I was the art teacher at Kasarani High School. I taught Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Urassa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Urassa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
