I teach geography at Parkside High School in Tokyo since 1996. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Uchida
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Uchida: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
